First in championship

I've been considering the team and football this year and come to the conclusion compared to teams we have had since we hit the championship and managers
This lot are a bunch of fakes and nowhere near the teams we've had
We know good players and team and most of this lot are nowhere near them

Problem is I don't think that's necessarily true but we have in the Championship years been a team which is far more important than individuals.

Looking back at the 2011 team, Craig Beattie, Orlando, Gower, Tate and Luke Moore would be no better than we have now. But the system, the way we played, the ethics and team management was a world apart. We all felt a part of that, now (even bearing in mind Vivid) we are just witnesses to what's going on, that's the difference.

Was Taylor any better than Bidwell?
Monk better than Bennett?

Can't question other parts of the squad but our team is strong and should be where it is

Your view of that clutch of previous players is through rose coloured spectacles.
They were all criticised to the point of no return by many week in week out, who were convincing themselves they knew better.
Gower in particular was treated shamelessly by the herd, Orlandi was not far behind and Moore was hated due to not smiling and looking lazy.

gower was a brilliant player. We also had probably the best two midfielders in leon and joe allen

Martinezs championship season was an utter snoozefest. Didnt we draw 8 games in a row at one point? Sousas season? The only difference is that now people are expecting us to win and play champagne football doing it whilst then we happy just to be there.
