RIP..a proper legend back in the day.

Does make me think that our own legend ( Curt ) should be well and truly honoured whilst alls well with him. Heaping praise no good when no longer with us.

Great player and fearless. Remember him scrapping with Norman Hunter and for a small guy he gave Hunter as good as he got.
RIP.

Tough player, big character, scored some terrific goals. Saw him score the winner in my first ever international at Ninian Park. Wales 0 v 1 England, around 1970 !!

I met him once about 30 years ago in Perth, Western Australia, where he was running a business after he retired.

Up there with Summerbee , Corrigan the keeper , probably Malcom Allison as Manager about that era .

Highlights with Brian Moore , Soccer Sunday ITV afternoon telly , game at Maine Road in the mud heap of a pitch .

A sad loss like the player , from my younger memories of football , bad news .RIP .

And the greatest of them all in that team, Colin Bell.

Ironic that the BBC News last night announced the passing of Man City legend Franny Lee and played a clip of him blasting a 30 yarder into the postage stamp, for Derby County against, yes you've guessed it, Manchester City

RIP Francis Lee 🙏
