• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

My son was only 2 when Busted were formed and only 7 when they broke up and had been a big fan but he was already into metal, even at that early age and always followed Charlie Simpson's career, especially his post-hardcore metal band Fightstar so not sure he'd be interested in Busted these days  . Now my son is 25 and last year, he bought one of Charlie's guitars for a few grand and it's the silver grey one he's playing in this pic.

Ha! What do I know! There I was saying about my son "not sure he'd be interested in Busted these days" and he told me yesterday that he'd already got tickets!

I could have had comps because Bob is my friend but I’m not a taker.

Anyone off to see Sabaton Sunday in Cardiff?

Just back from Pontardawe Arts Centre , The Zombies inc Rod Argent , Colin Blunstone and the rest of the band put on a hell of a show .

Obviously no audience member under the age of 50 , myself included , but the old wrinklies had a great nights entertainment , good crowd in too , nice to see a local event well supported .

For Christmas I was given a ticket for an Elton John gig at the O2 next Tuesday, never seen him before so going up with an open mind.

As we’re in London on the Monday I had a peep to see what else was going on up in the big smoke and I’ve struck gold - well at least as far as I’m concerned. John Fogarty the creative force behind Creedence Clearwater Revival is playing in the O2 next Monday and they had tickets left - Winner! He’s a bit of a legend and I’ve always wanted to see him play live so the credit card’s been maxed out and I’ve got 2 nights at the O2 next week.

Just returned from holiday and missed Manchester last night. Have a great night next week. Kings of Leon for us tomorrow, I only know 2 of their songs 😂
