I wouldn’t go see Bob Dylan if you paid me he sounds like a drunken drawling dropout.

I've been a Bob Dylan fan for many years, but had no interest in going to see him at the prices being charged for this gig or at his age.

Many years ago I worked in HMV and I had a CD of his playing one day. One of my colleagues said something along the lines of 'I love listening to songs Dylan wrote as long as anybody else is singing them'. I disagreed at the time, but have come to appreciate his point.

Plenty of live music available from Thursday till Sunday in SA1 and Marina area. Lots FREE.

With only Gouldman of the original 4, they must be a bit like a tribute band these days. iirc, nearly all of their hits were sung by either Stewart, Godley or Creme on lead vocals with Gouldman contributing backing vocals.
