A big Flaming Lips fan on this forum (and well-established hypocrite) was rolling his eyes at metal bands for their 'gimmicky' stage shows, but from what I've seen of this band they love a bit of all that nonsense too. And more power to them for wanting to put on a show.

Although I wouldn't fancy explaining this to the Health and Safety Executive if God forbid a fire broke out
