• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

This experiment of using non opening batsmen as openers is going really well - especially Zain-ul -Hassan - a No 7/8 batsman from Worcs 2nd X1.

Andrew Salter was so shell shocked - he retired!! 😂

No way should the opening game of a cricket season be played out like this, no matter how good the wicket is playing, absolute negatively by both sides...
And how much of a batting paradise can it be at Lord’s in early April after literally months of incessant rain.

Funnily enough Angus Fraser was co commenting on the Middlesex feed and said the wicket for the opening game at Lords usually played well because the groundsman had longer to prepare it, the fact Roland-Jones won the toss and put Glamorgan in to bat shows how it must have suprised even the Middlesex captain how flat it was...

I can’t see Toby Rowland Jones’s name without hearing Michael Holding saying it during the handful of Test matches he played a few years back.

Sam Northeast said he would have bowled first if he'd won the toss.
