Is it just me or is it a bit mad that a team can be 2 wickets from winning (and Middlesex still needed around 50 runs when the 8th wicket fell), yet get only 2 points while the team that scraped the win gets 21 points?

First innings let us down batting and bowling, and as you know that’s where the points come from. A weak pace attack in this game unfortunately did for us, and poor batting in the first.
