I don’t think David Hemp got the career break he expected when he went to Birmingham either. Tony Cottey was ok at Sussex.

As we are on the verge of Division One Promotion I hope they have offered him a large pay rise to stay at Glammy. Hopefully funded by the Welsh Fire being invested in from that company in the States.

Interesting article in Wisden this month about county performances on and off the field over the last decade. Can’t seem to link it sorry but the ranking table highlights the underperformance compared to income.

Hopefully a good end to the season with promotion and something to build on next year!
