• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Predicted on here few months back, that when the east are allowed to walk past the away pen when thers a big away following, there would be issues.
Was confrontation and punches thrown and police struggling to control a situation that should have been avoided. We've issues all over this club, inside and out.

Did the fans put up more fight than the players?

Indeed. Well played all round. Instructions not to raise intensity and desire heeded by all. Pass it around and definitely don't get it in the mixer in injury time to try and score!

It's all part of the plan if we get to safety too soon it will mean the last 2 or 3 games won't be exciting enough.

Some of their fans were an embarrassment, blokes in their late forties, early fifties losing their shyte with teenagers. It was pitiful to watch.

The highlight of the second half was the big lad in the blue jumper stomping out of the ground after the stewards told him to leave.

I can confirm that big lad had a cuffin outside.
