how lucky have we been to see him play for us?

all the hallmarks of a champions league centre half.

spoke really well too

He's come on a bit from his first season with us hasn't he. Most people would have happily sent him back to Chelsea, but he's now obviously a cut above at this level. Sheer class.

a phenomenal player leon, and can see him as a classy cdm too

Grown as a man since his last interview. Guy is fantastic

i think he knows how good he is now A4, you can be as arrogant as you ike when you play like that week in week out

Don't you mean his first couple of games when he was absolute dogshit.

I was right in stating that at the time but then held my hand up after the season resumed and he starting playing well.

I think everyone thought he was a pile of garbage based on his first two or three appearances for us. It was like we had loaned a completely different player after the mid season covid break last season and he has gone from strength to strength. Still sometimes likes to take a chance a little too often for my liking but that will come with age.

He took a few games to get the hang of playing in a very physical, combative league. That led a lot of people to conclude he was rubbish.

Lessons to learn about not writing people off too early there.

If we can we need to make him a priority signing if we go up.

Pretty sure there will be serious interest from a lot of clubs much higher up the food chain than us. Performances like his don't go unnoticed. But then look what happened to Brewster? :o

He will be playing in the premier league next season.

You can't state that on a first appearance in a struggling side. Lots of class sportsman need time. Our fans are far too hasty to judge

I did and quite a few agreed with me, it wasn't just his first game, he was very poor for at least his first two games possibly more but in my defence I did hold my hand up in saying I was wrong in slating him too early.

I am so happy to see how much he's developed over the last year, its great to see.
