Was into Zeppelin, Sabbath Deep purple and the like in the early 70s, it's only later on in life got to really appreciate the great music the likes of Sweet, T Rex , and Slade done in that era.

I loves the likes of Sweet,T Rex and Slade.

Sweet were my 3 in 10 on Popmaster many years ago. Still got the DAB radio.

Not the same I know but going to see them in December, Andy Scott being from just down the road.

I saw Slade back in October 1971. They were supporting Mott The Hoople in The Top Rank in Cardiff.
Slade were outstanding. I had the chance to go and see Sweet but couldn’t make it, my mate went and said they were really good and very different to the singles that they put out at the time, when live.
RIP Brian.
