Have you ever "booed" a player/performance?

Bit random, but a valid question. I can honestly say I've never booed anything in my life. A guy who sat in front of me used to do it regularly during our relegation from the Premier League. He never uttered a word all game but would boo at the final whistle towards the end of the season when we won fuk all games.

Voice your opinion to all and sundry, but booing...

Come on, fess up, who's booed anything in thier life?

I'm not a booer either, although I'm not holier than thou about it, just think it's a bit pantomimey. Prefer just giving the team the silent treatment - ignore them, get up and walk out.

Saying that, and to contradict myself a little, I have often booed opposition players/teams when we play them, and referees if they're awful. So, having thought about it a bit more - I don't boo my own team, but certainly have done to the opposition.

Like Smurphy, never booed, find that bit infantile. But have definitely sworn at individuals.
Why I don't know, the fckers can't hear me.

Every week I tell myself I'm not going to swear at them. Every week I end up disappointed in myself.

I don't have the energy or enthusiasm to boo them but I know for a fact I cannot be arsed to clap a sub standard performance from a team or an individual

In my head I think "That'll teach them" to make me feel better

Loads of times. I've never tagged anyone into a thread on Twitter to slag them off though, because that would just be uncouth.

Ive often wondered on that if someone tagged in on Twitter would ever think "Do you know this random twitter person has a point, I must try harder"

Andy Coleman gets tagged in Twitter quite a bit

I've noticed.

The fact that he's still on there despite that suggests he's made of some fairly stern material. Never much seen the point of directly slagging people off though.
