What was the name of the House band in the 70'S-80's please. Just spent a 1664 liquid lunch trying to remember?

Remember there being the main disco/dance hall and a smaller enclosed secondary area upstairs .
Sorry cannot put names to the Band , but do remember them , last pint in the Prince of Wales before entering The Rank , tie and tidy shoes essential or no entry , good times .
If I remember Top Rank became Ritzs , then Jumping Jacks and so on .Fbreath said:Robbie said:Was Tony Wyn Jones the resident dj there ? .

It became less formal as Ritzs ,The Valbonne and Barons seemed to have a more relaxed attitude .
Tried Harpers , now Sin City , once , never took to the place .
Yes , forgot about that name , remember seeing The Stranglers and Sparks playing there , different events , probably late 70s/early 80s .Professor said:Robbie said:If I remember Top Rank became Ritzs , then Jumping Jacks and so on .
