Have to say that despite feeling a sense of dislike of their fans & manager, with 5+ minutes left on the clock & 2-0 up Frank decided to throw on another attacker instead of trying to shut up shop.

This kept Arsenal on the backfoot & took pressure off his defence. Frank said last week that he intends to attack the premier league & we all know (except Cooper) that the best form of defence is attack.

Obviously tougher games ahead for them but fair play, they deserved the result.

Particularly liked their second goal, a Delap-esque long throw into the box with Jansson holding on to the keeper. Tactical genius ... they do play in the same colours as Stoke City I suppose :lol:

Yes, :lol: Was surprised that VAR didn't rule that one out. Keeper definitely being held despite Neville saying that it's up to the GK to push him away so perfectly good goal

They played good attractive football and deserved their win.
If we have somehow fluked it with Cooper, we would have got whipped every week.
They deserved their win at Wembley.
Did us a favour really as we are making a fresh start under Russell Martin and enjoyed it much more than anything under Cooper

Not taking anything away from Brentford, what a cracking start for them, but Arsenal really are a shadow of the side we faced in our first few seasons in the PL aren't they?

Arsenal are in deep sh1t... Awful yank owners, skint, awful board of managers in vinia and Edu and a clueless manager.. A bit like us the last two seasons.
Icing on the cake is Arteta who couldn't man managed a donkey so Lacazette and Auba are on strike and Auba is up for sale, no European money so they are skint.
