• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It was a honest assessment but the words were long overdue

Great article, Phil 👍🏻

Time for all the bullshit to end, I expect six points from the next two games.

This lot are lucky our fanbase can be so apathetic upon times.

As you pointed out in the article it's not just about now or this season, but is a combination of the seasons since Potter.
Each manager has had lesser players, but we have missed some dogs of a player. It does seem as too much emphasis has been given (P.R) on the Swansea Way in a way of keeping fans on side with the promise of things to come.
Without singling out any player, as there is the odd exception, but this squad is too lightweight and willing to pass responsibility to others.
Too many times players have allowed players to run beyond them as a couldn't care less attitude is evident.
We tend to swing a leg in tackles than put body weight into them. Backing off seems to be the norm and no attempt to win the ball.
So many players lack the basic skills, and don't make up for it in sheer guts and determination.

It really is disheartening to see
