Italian outfit lining up £10m bid for key Swansea City ace

Can't see it myself.
Do Serie A teams get big money being promoted like they to the Prem League?
Seems a big punt from a newly promoted club.

He may have scored one or two of them chances that Inter passed up last night .

Let the bidding war commence if PL clubs are sniffing around.. I'd take 10 million, but if it's all true a few clubs are after him.. 15 million!

Anyone come in with Ten big ones for JP and the yanks will start windmilling thier tadgers en bloc

Our starting point should be 25 FFS.

If we're not interested in getting any money for him that would be an excellent strategy. Worked last summer with an asking price well below that. And he played like he was sulking for months afterwards.

If you look at our record for sales most have proven to be overpriced playing up a level - DJ, McBurnie, Rodon, Downes, plus look at what we did for Brewster. Guehi's the only one who has really looked worth the fee his performances with us generated. And Roberts obviously, but he was cheap as chips. £10m cash for any player with a year remaining on his contract is good business, keeps the wages paid and academy open. £25m is fantasy football.

Agreed, 25 m is a fantasy, but should be used to end up with 15 shirley.
No brainer. Don't forget, has scored over 40 goals in 2 seasons.

McBurnie was scored 22 with us, and 9 in 17 games with Barnsley before that. Same age as Piroe was. Good Championship striker but nothing more so far. Brewster had 10 in 20 games. Someone's got to be wondering if prolific Swansea strikers in the Championship actually are worth £15m. And our bargaining position is way worse than we had with McBurnie who had to be talked into leaving.

Agree that £10m given the position we're in is probably the best we can hope for (unless an unlikely bidding war broke out).

Would add Gibbs-White to Guehi on the list of players who have looked worth their fee, although admittedly his time at Sheffield United would have had far more of an impact on the fee than his injury-hit time here.

They are not newly promoted and also had Frank Ribery on their books a few seasons back.
