Maybe. With Lowe Cullen Piroe Whittaker and Joseph with reports we are looking for a No 9 then you'd think someone will go even if on loan.

I hope this is nonsense, jamal is another attacking player who could flourish under martin.

How much we thinking? Bear in mind Wigan payed 2.5M for him so the 800K we payed was due to their financial problems, on the back of a solid scoring season for us,6-8M?

Could well be, the only doubt I have is if money is needed for a No 9 etc. If Grimes stays could the club then be looking elsewhere for their transfer pot.

Instinctively £6m feels high but at say £4m would that give the kind of kitty we would need for the players Martin wants?

And - assuming its true - better to lose Lowe than Grimes?

Possibly is to high, but I’m sure Anderlecht payed around 8M for Kemar Roofe, if we are to lose anyone of our ‘star’ players this season unfortunately I’d have to say Roberts would be the one I’m willing to leave to boost funds but his injury isn’t helping that situation.

This would be a left field sale, didn't see this one coming but now it's out there it would add up, we need outgoings

As things stand we're likely to have Whittaker, Piroe, Joseph, Lowe, Cullen and whoever Martin's got an eye on fighting for limited spaces. Wouldn't bet against a departure or two in any case, even if only on loan.

I'd like to keep Lowe, but if there's decent cash on the table that gives us the opportunity to beef up elsewhere then I wouldn't rule this out.

I think unless its a very good offer we'd be stupid to let Lowe go
him and Piroe should be our front 2 with Cullen, Whittaker and Joseph rotating
If we do sign another striker though one of those 5 would need to leave and I suspect it would be Lowe as he has most value and wouldnt be happy with less game time

Has he really pulled up any tree's for foreign clubs to warrant an interest in signing him. Similar to Dhanda's supposed interest. Surprised if this has legs.

I would be gutted to see him go and from the club's point of view I think if he has a successful season, then his price would be much higher next summer.
From his point of view, if he goes there, it will be a fantastic move and the opportunity to play European football

Apart from his purple patch last season he's been fairly ineffective... Cheerio Lowe

Just what the hell ?
Clearly not a fan ?
How anyone could be effective in a side managed by Cooper is amazing.
Think he will be a star for us if he stays this season, with the opportunities and style of play
