With today's results we don't look to bad but the next few games are tough so we just as easily get pulled a little closer to that bottom 3.

It looks like we will be losing Patino and Ashby back to their clubs, with Wood also possibly being picked up after his summer bids. Assume Bolasie won't be renewed and talks of Cullen going. Patterson needs to be kept until at least the summer and we have to hold on to Lowe as well, who may be of interest to another team with him only having 6 months left on his Bournemouth deal.

Looking like we are going to need 3 or 4 signings to just keep even on the squad, never mind improve it. Depends of course on the status with Kukarehovic, Tjoe-a-on and one or two others who have not really being in contention for any minutes at all.

I'm guessing we need a real box to box midfielder, a winger and a full back. Assuming we don't lose anyone that is. Are there any names floating about right now?

2 quick wingers with Tymon and Key working in harmony with them.
Dominate the ball and own the flanks.
3 of Grimes, Allen, Walsh, Pato and a Patino replacement playing in the middle with constant options and constant movement.
No more playing 3 centre halves. It’s the most negative, mind numbing formation…. Like playing with a man sent off.
Up front…. Yates getting slagged but he’s had almost zero service. I haven’t written him off yet.
Where do we get 2 quick wingers in the mould of James and Dyer?

Daps and Swansea93 are the boys you want in this thread.

Reality is that our appointment of a new manager will rumble on into the new year.......remember its down to our pursuit of the right man and no other reason!

Once that has been sealed then they will have exhausted themselves, leaving very little time to get new faces in.......plus the returning injured players will be like new signings.

All that whilst conveniently ignoring the players going out the door.

We will bring in Tjoe A on and Parker from the U21’s possibly with one or two others as loans.

That will be it.

Ovie Ejariah is a free angek t after leaving reading, we should be all over that.

Killed us down here a season or two ago

Tjoe-A-On cost a lot of money it might be a good idea to see him play eventually.

Nathanael Ogbeta cost us a few quid too apparently, might be a good idea to give him a start eventually as well...

Somin must be up with both signing's either not good enough, to raw or a pain the arse to manage.

Injuries. And two senior left backs signed in the summer.
