Jay has become British Flyweight Champion - emulating his dad Peter who won the British Featherweight title in 1988.

Jay joined a select group of 10 Welshman to complete the triple crown of British, Commonwealth and European honours.

His achievements now stand alongside the likes of Jim Driscoll, Freddie Welsh, Johnny Basham, Dai Dower, Johnny Owen, Colin Jones, Enzo Maccarinelli, Nathan Cleverly, and Lee Selby.

I know Jay, brilliant fighter, it's just those Mexicans seem to have it in for him, different breed, fair play to Jay though, lot of fighters at his weight dodge them
