To get back into the side. Both Fulton and Grimes have been superb recently, and are striking up a really good midfield partnership.

Seriously? Joe Allen will have no problem replacing Fulton in the side , absolutely different class to him , more energy, more forward drive with the ball and quicker around the pitch .One of them has 72 caps for Wales and the other hasn't got any senior Scottish caps.

And one of them can last 90 minutes.

I’m a Grimes fan to a point but if anything it should be Allen for Grimes. No way Fulton should be booted out of the side on current form. He was our best midfielder and one of the best players on the pitch against Sunderland.

No player should find it easy to get into the side.

Fulton has been excellent lately. In truth he's rarely let us down in the past either. One of the most oddly underrated players on the books. Grimes may finally have worked out which direction the team plays in because lately he's been much more involved in attacking play and showing strong evidence of the player he actually can be. If anything Allen is going to replace Cundle.

Can you imagine that we were trying to give Fulton away for free?

Criminally underrated for a long time

Unless it's a play off final. He's that good we have been willing to listen to offers for him , and yet no team wants him . Compare him to Downes, who was here for 1 season and attracted interest from a few teams.

Seriously?
Fulton was MOTM today.
If Joe is fit on Saturday he doesn't start in place of Grimes or Fulton, but may be a third midfielder?

Joe will be used sparingly even if fully fit until after the World Cup, it probably was a prerequisite before he signed for us...
