JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE | IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT
Joel Latibeaudiere felt it had been worth the wait after he enjoyed a winning Swansea City debut against Luton at the weekend.
The defender joined the Swans from Manchester City on transfer deadline day, but a combination of injury and the form of others has meant he has had to be patient.
But he helped Steve Cooper’s side see out their victory over the 10-man Hatters, having been summoned from the bench to replace Marc Guehi.
The 20-year-old was praised by head coach Cooper in his post-match press conference, and the centre-half was delighted to get some game time under his belt.
“I really enjoyed my debut. I've waited a while for it and was really happy to get on the pitch and go on to win the game,” he said.
