We had him on loan, can’t say I remember too much of his playing time with us

I remember him for us. Linked well with John Williams. Very good player. Going to West Ham in the PL and not making it a success I think hit him hard.

I remember him coming on loan to us in the 91/92 season. Even then at a young age he was a class above everyone else. One particular game against Bournemouth, we were rock bottom of the old division 3, they were flying and Joey helped us to a 3-1 home win against them.
