• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I’ve always found Yes and their various offshoots to be indescribably tedious. Maybe if they could extricate themselves from their own backsides they’d be ok. Owner of a lonely heart is a decent little ditty. Each to their own though.
That's because you are an oik from Clase with zero taste and class, not like us sophisticates from Caeriethin. No offence, obviously, you might lack finery, but you're no Vetch.

Just to give a different perspective to the Yes/No (did you see what I did there? Oh never mind) debate.

When I was at school there were some serious Yes fans knocking about. The trouble was that they were know it all tw@ts, meaning I instinctively hated Yes.

Decades later I got cajoled into going to see them in concert. No one likes admitting they were wrong and the know it all tw@ts were right, but dammit Yes were bloody good.

I still can't name more than a couple of their songs but - through gritted teeth - I have to admit they put on a bloody fantastic show. I went and saw their next tour just in case their good show had been a fluke and they were great again.
