• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Tate was miles better than Key
As an all-rounder able to fill multiple positions, yes. As a right-back, not a chance in hell. He was maybe in the same league defensively, but if you think Tate was better going forward than Key is, you're wearing extremely rose-tinted glasses.

The games in which Parker has played haven't marked him as an upgrade on Key imho unfortunatley

If we are content to be a mid table Championship side then Cullen Fulton and Key do fine.

Cullen has been on the bench for the last 4 league games and Fulton hasn't played a minute all season. Odd comment.

We are only 7 games into the season ! You saying they won't feature? We know what they are all about.

Does he hold the world record for the longest amount of time to take a long throw. Badly.

If Fulton had been available for the physical battle that the Hull game became then maybe we'd have held on for the win. There are games and times when having him around will be handy. As much as I don't rate him, some will probably say the same for Cullen too.

Key blows hot and cold. He can look more than capable one minute and careless the next. I don't think it's a lack of ability as we've seen some really good stuff from him in the past, but he needs a bit more focus. Certainly I think he's becoming a bit of a scapegoat and nothing he does will be good enough for some people.

Some competition for his position would do him the world of good. At the moment he's pretty much the guaranteed to start every week, which isn't healthy.
