Potter knew this club didn't have a pot to piss in and was not going to turn down a PL club. The job he's done since proves he was right. Also got us a nice wedge of compo.

Potter knew the conditions that he'd be working under when he took the job here.
He had a better offer elsewhere and took it, as was his right, but he was in no way a wronged party in the process.

Make no bones about it , Potter made an appalling attempt at getting us promoted at the first attempt and never even got us in the play offs. Against Stoke at home we had the likes of Roberts , Van de Hoorn, Naughton, Grimes , James , Mcburnie, Routledge and Dyer in the team , which in my opinion is a far better team than our current manager has at his disposal.
