Judas#2 5 Judas#1 2

Not for me (Clive). Both left for good reasons. The manager of Swansea City does not turn down Liverpool without a damn good reason, plus Rodgers had not long since signed a new contract and guaranteed us a nice bit of compo. He made it better by then overpaying for Joe Allen.

Potter knew this club didn't have a pot to piss in and was not going to turn down a PL club. The job he's done since proves he was right. Also got us a nice wedge of compo.

Absolutely, but still, fùck em both

Agree that neither one deserves the title of Judas, neither left us in the lurch last minute and poached every good player in the squad while also taking all our scouting results for the next club (see Martinez).

Its been well documented that BR signed a new contract with Swansea to improve the compensation they would be due when one of the big boys came to poach him.

With Potter he actually sought assurances from the owners about keeping certain players or making all of the funds raised from any sales for the squad but was shot down. Subsequently he agreed to take the Brighton job.

Potter knew the conditions that he'd be working under when he took the job here.

He had a better offer elsewhere and took it, as was his right, but he was in no way a wronged party in the process.

Just to clarify, any manager/player who leaves us will always be classed as Judas in my world
Also, If you think I'm being harsh on Brenda, you want to ask any Celtic supporters views on him, and he was statistically one of the greatest Celtic managers in history

Make no bones about it , Potter made an appalling attempt at getting us promoted at the first attempt and never even got us in the play offs. Against Stoke at home we had the likes of Roberts , Van de Hoorn, Naughton, Grimes , James , Mcburnie, Routledge and Dyer in the team , which in my opinion is a far better team than our current manager has at his disposal.

To be fair Routledge was beginning to decline and Dyer had been on the wane for years.
If he had Ayew like Cooper did for two seasons then I think he would have been much better off.

Martinez and Brendan, best Swans managers ever. With Tosh. Best three managers the club has ever had.

The author is clueless as rightfully pointed out had better opportunities, could have come and raided the club like a lot of managers do.

Squeak off you massive fanny ...

Clueless @Swanjaxs

I bet your boss is happy that you would turn down any change in job for double the pay and more opportunities just so you can stay on the drive through in Burger King
