• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I reckon there's legs in this one. Don't know much about him, but the right age, experience of championship and top level in Germany.

Started well in German but couldn't establish himself beyond that. Stats aren't great but he's young and fills a position we need. They might be looking to recoup a fee for a player they initially thought they'd snagged for free until a tribunal decided otherwise.

Would be a decent signing imo. From the few times I watched him play he was definitely more of an attacking threat than Anthony Jung who is first choice left back at Werder.

Had a feeling we’d look further afield to fill this position. Not much available in the EFL.

Pacy wing back… always seemed decent when I saw him playing for Derby.

Derby fans don’t rate him tho… but you don’t play for England u21s and Werder Bremen if there’s not something about you.

He could actually end up being an upgrade on Manning.

Manning last season was sensational going forward… but he was still a liability defending.

Has pace. If he can plug the hole between centre half and left back as his first priority we will improve.
