All came back stronger.
Get them fùcked off so we can start over, even if it means fat Martin gets to hold the crown jewels again.

Pretty sure the same was said when we were in the Prem

They won't learn, they won't leave

The Premier league and Leauge one are miles apart financially and in exposure media wise, the Championship allows them to tread water, drop down and they'll cut and run, even if it means going into receivership...

Came back stronger?!

It took a whole country to stop Man City being relegation contenders every year

Forest spent 25 years on 'coming back stronger'

Sunderland have been away from the top flight for 8

Leeds were out of position for 16 years

Ipswich are some 23 years removed from the top flight

Coventry have been to the 4th tier and ended up playing home games in Northampton and Birmingham!

I don't fancy coming back stronger if those are the examples.

Nice stats (Google)
My point stands.
All those clubs are flourishing at this time.

You have to hit bottom before you start climbing if shyt, uninterested owners are holding the purse strings.

😂😂😂

Ask any of those fans if they enjoyed their spell in the wilderness…clueless butt.

How does getting relegated actually lead to the owners leaving, though? You need to have someone willing to buy the club. Operating in League One will probably cost them less money trying to keep us afloat than it will in the Championship, wages to revenue are much healthier at that level (still bad but the Championship is insanity), so would they be any more motivated to sell?

All clubs which are orders of magnitude bigger than us. There are bigger clubs who have gone to League One and completely lost what they once where.

If we drop down then its curtains for a very long time, the drop in league revenue as well as season tickets and gate receipts will be drastic. We have a lot of committed spending - between two separate training grounds, the stadium and other operational costs.

There'll be redundancy across the board, and we'll likely have to sell off one of the training grounds as well as reducing the academy operational budget (and it's not exactly flourishing right now).

If you think the Championship is a money pit then league one is the grand canyon. We won't have a pot to piss in, without the external investments of someone like our current owners we'd be far more likely to drop down to league 2 in the next 5 years than come back. Ain't no prospective football club owners going to look at League One Swansea and think they're going to be quids in. Especially with the Yankees probably looking to make us as streamlined on the books as possible, by selling any player who earns a half decent wage and not replacing them with anything other then boys and free agents.

That's maybe what they are trying to achieve then, cause I can't see as to what the fuk they are trying to achieve otherwise.
I wouldn't trust them to run a bath, they totter from one bad decision to another and always have done.

WTF they were thinking with putting Coleman in charge only they know and they've gone and compounded that decision with making another ludicrous decision by making a position for Colemans butty Gude on the pretence that they have both invested, an investment that no one seems to be able to trace and neither have a clue about running a "soccer club"!

They tried it once before with Pearlman that worked well as well, just has well Jenkins was still here otherwise the calamity we are seeing now would have happened much sooner, Silverstien another yankee salesman came and went, like Pearlman, never to be seen or heard of again !

We all know this is where we are heading, sooner or later.

And when we get there, it’ll be a long old slog getting back up.

The chances are any new owners will be worse than this lot.

I think it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets any better

Yes

youre point is bs, lots of people on here thought dropping from the premier league to the championship would be our saving grace so we could rebuild but thats turned into a complete disaster and we are going backwards. also lets not forget we could drop all the way down and even into the conference and then we would be really fucked, so stop this nonsense about dropping down would be some sort of panacea
