• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Great news

Another useless article drawing wages that we're stuck with, whoever sanctioned this signing needs f...ing with a rag mans trumpet.

Safe to say that it has been a very frustrating season for Walsh both with us and on loan at Hull.

You see occasional glimpses of his potential but for someone who prefers to play in a deep lying midfield role it often feels like games just drift past him when his position is usually one of the busiest on the field.

Intrigued to see what happens with him over the summer especially if we do sign Joe Allen - that would give us 4 defensive midfielders fighting for 2 spots.

Crikey, a contract up to 2024?

2024? For an injury prone player? Splendid.

Thing is, he does have talent and somehow we have to try and use him if we can't get shot, unless playing in the kids team makes him get his agent looking harder for a move.

Not all signings will work. Piroe and Oba have (despite reservations from everyone at the start), Whittaker and this lad have not, despite both being promising. I don't think we can criticise either 'failed' signing.

The two loans on the other hand...I don't think Williams was any good at all, but if he and Burns were maybe played in their best positions, who knows?

The only man who got anywhere near to scoring a set piece for us this season, give him the 10 shirt!
