I genuinely mean this, probably for the first time since they started putting all these press conferences on YouTube etc., I've probably watched about 1-2 minutes of Luke since him being manager. What's the point.

I watched the Scumbags at Sheffield last night and I am appalled what has been done to a once great competition. FA Cup was at least as important as winning the league when I was growing up, maybe more so as it was the only live match on telly all season and a really serious event. I still remember Charlie George against Liverpool, Clarke's winner against Arsenal (I wrote a match report for the school) and the joy of Stokoe's Sunderland.

Anyway, last night. Thursday ffs, and even Sheffield put out reserves with one man and his dog in the stadium. Nobody cared. They were probably happy to be knocked out. Hate it. Why bother at all.

The FA Cup has lost its appeal. I don't even bother watching the final anymore and really couldn't care less who wins on Sunday.
