Got the home games on the box, plus 7 away matches, that’s some compensation. Importantly though it’s given the club a few quid towards costs. Clubs need every penny they can get their hands on at the moment. And players too, as they may only have about 10 years or so to cash in at a senior level.

It means club know where they are and can attempt to budget.
Those with big deficits could find themselves in serious trouble.

Renewed at the end of December assuming that there would have been no hiccups. Unfortunately the world has been bit with this pandemic and although I cant see games in person I am happy enough to watch them on the box. Just being grateful that we are able to play at the moment and have got something to look forward to at the weekends...though getting a striker in would be a bonus :)

It was always going to be a challenge that was very hard to overcome and now it seems almost certain that we will be waiting at least six more months...

Snap.
Given travel costs and what I spend on game days I'm not out of pocket at all.
Some are and maybe the club should take another look at their situations.

Good shout about the game day spend. My mate & I share driving duties for home games but as he can't get to every game, I would probably have driven to about 14 to his 8 so this season that'll be around £350 I'll save just in fuel before any food & drink is factored in so that's about £75 more than my ST (old git rates!).

I disagree with your "old git rate" comment...you ain't old!

The club owe the players a hell of alot of money by the time full capacity is back in stadiums.

Nice of you to say so but how old do you have to be called old?

It's probably more a state of mind (/body)

The game against WBA had such an eerie vibe to it, or maybe thats hindsight bias, but it would have been unthinkable at the time, for it to potentially be a year before being back in the ground.
