I think the Luton game is away too.

If so, 3 away games in a week won't be ideal preparation for the Derby. Will need to use the squad.

We've got 4 away games out of 5 matches, and as you say, 3 away on the trot in 1 week!

Think the way SC sets us up makes us the perfect away team. Playing away doesn't seem to hurt us.

Given there are no fans why should playing 'away' make any difference anyway. There should be no difference in the psychology or the way teams play at all, as there is no crowd to 'subdue'. We should be looking to trash Hudds, Brizz (shame they didn't keep that manager) and Cov this month as they are all in dreadful nick. That would set us up nicely for March where there are 3 very winnable games and a gimme.

Football never works out like that of course, but I'd be a bit disappointed with anything less than those 21 points from the 9 games.

What Bidwell had said in his piece today is a key point for me. “If we stay in games we’re always in with a chance”. So true, especially now with a decent bench to be called upon. I think there’ll be more games like last night this season and self belief is going to be critical.

I think congestion can be really good if the mood and form are buoyant, opposite if not so. Momentum is key, and we are looking very good indeed - I imagine the players can't wait for the next game. The squad seems to be bonding, and happy too.

We bounce back well either in the middle of or in between games which shows belief and confidence. The one game at a time mentality works backwards too - no time for complacency, taking the foot off the gas, treat every game like it's a final.
