• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

So after a largely ineffectual performance against Leicester he’s played a blinder for NZ. I wonder if he’s being held back by Sheehan but allowed to play his game without shackles for NZ ?
Held back positionally or career wise?
I think he looks a really good defensive midfielder and exactly what we need in fromt of our back 4. We paid decent money for him - but to me he looks worth every penny - and then some.

No the poster who said Auckland? Kiwi Swan could be too. I don’t know. 🤷
Baron Goblet.
I have mentioned in the ancestry thread about finding out I have relatives on my dad's side, who live in Auckland NZ and now having regular messages.
I have found out so much about the place in the last few months despite having cousin's who were born out there on the South Island.

Stamenic is a Rolls Royce #6, no question about it. Was clearly affected by his injury in recent games but looks like he’s back and firing

Yes I am in Auckland, back after many years in London
My dad's first cousin (and the rest of the family) live in Auckland. He has sent me some great pictures of the place and it is crazy how many volcanoes are there.

Lived in Auckland for a year. Loved the place. Loved NZ as a whole. Lived in an apartment downtown - walking distance to the harbour and restaurants, bars etc. We'd get the ferry over to Devonport, grab some fish and chips and a bottle of wine, climb to the top of the hill and admire the beautiful view as the sun set. So many fond memories of the place.
