Man City willing to loan him out next season us and Huddersfield leading the que according to Nixon.

Rather see us developing our own players and using the fees paid out for loans to make permanent signings.
Not sure how feasible it is though

I get a bit frustrated by this, the whole will he, won't he. If they/he wants to come then sign, if not then don't. We don't need to be grateful or held to ransom.

As much as I’d love to see him here because of his talent, if city are umming and arring on what to do with him and haven’t come to a decision within the next few weeks say, we need to move on and focus on bringing in someone who 100% wants to be at Swansea city.

Was the original link due to the Mark Allen effect? And now that Mark Allen is off the scene does it mean that there is zero possibility of McAtee wearing white next season?

Maybe waiting on Forest play off to make a decision ?

Man City haven given the green light for him to leave on loan, would be a great loan for us.

Everything I've read about McAtee is that City would prefer to keep him in their squad this season, but will loan him out if he wants to go and they get good offers for him. If they do loan him out, there's expected to be a queue of PL clubs interested unfortunately.

Can't remember what articles exactly I read that in, but think they were on The Athletic.

Would love him here but Martin said he wants to stay away from loans according to WOL.

Unless they improve the starting 11 and judging by statistics and reviews of this guy he sounds like the real deal.

Two red flags I have with this:

1. Why would Man City loan us another player after the Burns fiasco?
2. Bringing in McAtee will seriously harm Congreve's progression

Very true on both counts. Surely we could get Congreve a loan move? He’s not going to be getting major minutes here surely? I’d love it if he did but can’t see it.
