• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

There's not a lot there for kids from what we saw, there's a hotel that backs onto the beach that's a family resort, there's a hotel up on the right of the beach that maybe the same, but we didn't go up there, plenty of families walking around harbour in the evenings though.

Was talking about Cala'n Blanes/Cala'n Forcat (the naming is a bit weird), which is just above Ciutadella.

Been down to Cala'n Bosch a few times although never stayed there. Like NJ said, it's probably got more going on than almost any other resort in Menorca, so I wouldn't recommend anywhere else on the island if it's too quiet for you. :)

I didn't expect it to be as quiet as it was, was expecting more choices to go for a beer/food etc, I was thinking that there must be move livelier places on the Island to be honest, Mrs enjoyed the peace and quiet and the rest though, so its all good and she wasn't interested in going to the Ciutadella shopping complex etc, we were gonna catch a bus to other beaches, but it was to hot to sit on a bus for half hour or longer. I did enjoy the holiday, but I was expecting more.
Majorca is totally different with its long promenade walks with a varied choice of places to stop off.

Maybe, but Portugal is looking a firm favourite at the moment, just a shame that we don't feel confident enough to leave the youngest in respite for longer than a week and even with a week we get the heebi bee gees as the week goes on, picked him up Sunday and he was fine though thankfully.
