Just finished watching it.

Terrible what is going on in that city. I used to work in the North West and Liverpool was the only city I didn't feel safe when I stayed over.

Episode one makes for chilling viewing.

The sequenced text messages prior to the first killing were sobering, but that was nothing compared to the breathlessness of the police officers as they carried the young girl off to hospital.

I shouldn’t watch stuff like this at this time of night, too late now so may as well power through the full four episodes.

Compelling viewing, moving at times, but also incredible to see the work of the police so up close on what was ultra high profile investigative work. An astonishing effort to win the trust of the local community, that’s what proved pivotal in the end.
