Michael Laudrup as our manager 😳 absolutely chuffed I got to see that!

It’s such a shame Leigh Dineen,John van Zweden and the rest of them ganged up on Huw Jenkins to sack him.

Unbelievable in it, sacked him in the middle of a European campaign in which we qualified from the group stage, and the whole Monk fiasco, Laudrup rightly didn't rate the slow ageing CB who was about to be shifted out on loan, Monk had a paddy with Huw and decided to sack Laudrup and appoint Monk in charge! It got worse an worse every year when you've got the unqualified roofing, vending machine and wall paper business men decided to go mental

Awful Skip,truly awful.

Leroy Lita said Laudrup was the last person to show up to training and the first to leave. He was only interested when playing the big teams.

Brendan and Laudrup , two of the best Swans managers in last 100 years.

Brendan gave us The Premiersip.

Laudrup gave us a cup and Europe.

Anyone unhappy with that needs to choose another team / sport to watch.

Good! All managers should leave routine training to coaches, if they don't have better things to do then they're not doing their job.

Laudrup went at the right time for him in retrospect, his legacy wouldn't have looked so great if he had got us relegated , he can be proud of what he achieved here

The trust also from what I remember.

Didn't help when they were all listening to your mate Garry either!

edit - He said: “There has inevitably been a mixed reaction amongst fans to the announcement, with the club facing a critical period of key matches in three major competitions.

" However we know, from our supporter director, Huw Cooze, that the board has not taken this decision lightly, particularly in such an important week for the club and it’s vital that we now all pull together to give the team our full support. We all want to see an upturn in results and what better place to start than at the Liberty Stadium against Cardiff City” - Our very own Phil!

To be fair, that is exactly what they needed to say after the decision was taken, encourage everyone to rally behind the new manager. It doesn't suggest the Trust were agitating for Laudrup to be sacked. I have no idea if they were or not, but it sounds unlikely.

If we're being honest, the Trust rep at the time seemed quite happy to go along with whatever the club wanted.

Mr Jenkins never mentioned Garry in his interview.
