• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Few City supporting sites saying us and Blackpool in for him.

Was linked in January if memory serves? Was going to be recalled from Bmuff and sent to us but for whatever reason never happened.

I know a few have said on here, and I agree, I can't see City wanting to send lads down here after watching what happened to Williams from Liverpool, and then one of their own in Burns.

Swansea is a great place for youngsters to come and play, but we can’t accommodate players in our team if they’re not good enough just to keep the big clubs happy. I’m sure if burns was good enough, he’d have played, especially at the back end of the season.

Why would it have been a good place to send youngsters last year though?

Laird was recalled by his club
Burns sat on bench as did Williams before him when we played central midfielders out of position.

Christie and Wolf relative successes but were more established, I don't see clubs being overly keen on sending to us next year.

Sorry, I should have said….Swansea is a great place for youngsters to play…if they’re good enough. Williams was shit before the racial abuse incident at Luton, and the fact burns couldn’t get in the squad when we had 0 centre backs should say it all.
