• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What is your favourite on the menu?
Only been once. Is it still sagres in bottles or draught beer?

Massively overrated. Chicken in spices, bit of spicy rice and various sauces.

Nice but people go on as if it’s Mecca. Mostly younger folk.

Is it only chicken on the menu, never frequented.🤔. What's the prices like, reasonable?

Last time I went to Nando’s my mates wife was heavily pregnant with their first kid, who’s 13 now. I’m in no rush to break that duck.

I've only been a handful of times in my life and not for a good few years now. It's perfectly acceptable food, but nothing special. A step above fast food or chain pub food and a decent choice when you've only got limited time before your film starts or something. Nothing more than that.

I have the feeling they've benefited from a number of people (I don't want to use the word influencer because fuck that) deciding it's cool and being happy to say so. Lots of others have rushed to do the same to try and get some of that popularity themselves or to avoid looking 'uncool'. Anyone who genuinely thinks it's good food has probably not eaten at a very wide variety of places.

I think it's OK, and to be fair it's always consistent, and a good place for a family meal I think. I had one once before boarding a flight in OR Tambo airport in South Africa, and found out that the extra hot there is wayyyyy hotter than here! As I was tucking in, my head was stinging. I think Nando's may have originated in SA?

Nandos is perfectly fine if you like piri-piri grilled chicken. It’s pricey for what you get but reliable and a step up from a Wetherspoons, or some such similar choice.

Think Wagamama’s, Wahaca, Zizzi, etc. Generic attempts at regional/street food, reliable.
