Yes mate they do have their uses, for stuff like that. Even smart criminals get caught out, I watched this programme a few year back, this chap was quite a big time drug dealer, IIRC most of the damming evidence against him was they actually linked his encro chat phone, to his normal phone, basically the police knew exactly where he was by the mast location. Pretty good investigative work by the Police there.
