Actually, looking at it, there was nothing else it could be after turn 1, but I didn't go through the permutations to find that out before I bashed in the first thing that worked.

I've been using the same opening for ages, in the belief that ruling in/out half the numbers and half the signs makes sense. It HAS to make sense. My failure to match your scores can't just be constant bad luck. It has to be down to what I've got between my ears.

I might try waiting until later in the day before attempting a solution. Maybe that'll reduce some of my poor choices.
