• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Have it on high regard the club hasn’t conducted a single interview for manager yet

Martin will probably fall through, then he'll be on gardening leave and we'll start the season without a manager, this is what we're all about.. deja vu etc..

I was shocked but not shocked at the same time hearing the news. Seems cooper all over again but nothing learnt whatsoever

When it happens it'll be on Teams or Facetime, no way will Levien show his fat chops here and he won't intrust anyone else to conduct an interview.

They are going to make the call using two bake bean cans and a piece of string.

No offence to OP, but I don't think that's true.

Let's assume Watson is taking the lead with the new manager hunt, which I think he is, it's just strange again why we take so long with announcing things, it was the same with Morris investment.

But anyway, who do we think? He usually scours the lower leagues to find gems, like he did with Edwards for example, I don't mind that personally, plenty of blokes doing well looking for the opportunity. Proven success in league one, surely jump at a job like ours?

Fully agree, Risc.

OP is wide of the mark, unusually for him with his track record.

I’d say Watson is keen on getting it spot on and will ensure we dig a little deeper with our due diligence after the Russy project. Our owners and fans will have ‘experientially learned’ from that debacle, to coin Russy’s gobbledegook.

‘Who do we think ?’ I’d say :
- MD
- CD
in that order

Be interesting to see a PS Poll on such a big decision ……

New significant $ investments
New proven successful recruiter
New manager
New players

Just the tonic right now
