Live and let live, but I’m not playing along with someone else’s narrative.

There are ‘real’ trans people, whom I would wager are a very small percentage of the current trans population. These people are supported without huge changes to law such as this.

I know ‘mental illness’ is a loaded term and I’ve hesitated to use it in this thread, but I think the vast majority of trans people should be supported with sessions with a psychologist more than anything.

There are an increasing amount of ‘de-transitioners’ who at a young age went through all the hormone treatment etc., and realised when they became a young adult (17,18 upwards) that they rushed into it and were even encouraged by doctors that they had gender disphoria. They then go through the rest of their life with that regret hanging over them.

My wife and I work in education and the spike of trans people in the last year or so is significant. Of course, we are ‘encouraged’ to play along otherwise we will likely lose our jobs. There have been plenty of issues with ‘trans girls’ (I.e. boys/men) using female spaces and it causing discomfort.

I don’t think some people in the world actually believe what they’re saying though they just say it because they think they’re right when they’re 100% wrong.
You only have to look at the way Sharron Davies and J. K. Rowling have been slaughtered for stating the 100% truth.
They’re transphobic for speaking the truth,work that out.

You think it is fine for a man to transition legally to a woman within a matter of months, while still sporting a beard and having a penis? Without having any kind of medical diagnosis? You don't have any thoughts on potential issues?

You don't have to be a gender studies expert to have some form of opinion on this...the only thing you want to do is say 'gammon' at everyone that does have an opinion.

I believe Scotland will be the 9th country in Europe to bring in similar systems to changing your gender? It would be interesting to hear about the problems that have resulted in those countries, plus it would give those upset about this a better basis to argue from.

I see Sunak has mentioned that the UK government may use a previously never used power to stop this coming into effect. Which would be giving the Scottish Indy supporters exactly what they want and making an independent Scotland much more likely in the future. I'm sure Spaffer would have done it, let's see if Sunak has more brains.

Honestly, I used to love PS for debates on contentious issues such as this...but I think you're right, it's a reflection of society. It's very difficult to have a debate without having a shouting match (which has been the case for a while), but it seems to have been further diluted to being called names and that's it.

I read your first line and stopped. If you're going to make stupid accusations the same as the other one did, post up where i suggested that you ae racist or fuck off. It's that simple. That is a perfect example of a gammon, screaming that they've been called a racist when they haven't.
