• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It wasn't exactly a sacking, was it? He was due to leave at the end of the season and now Newport are safe, they let him go early.

I joked like many others that Williams would go to Cardiff next, and someone said he will go to Newport. Damn....its gonna happen, Williams lives in Newport... Then it must be true or will happen 😂😂😂😂

Cam Toshack incoming apparently. Knew it would be an ex-Jack in some way. Be interesting to see how he gets on.
Would be interesting to watch and see how he does if he does come in as someone who often wanted him to be given an opportunity when we were floundering without a plan or a clue

It’s going to be a difficult job for anyone who goes there. They’ve got one of the lowest budgeted in the division.

Jardim was on a one year so not as if terminated from a 3 year contract. Huw totally recycled the squad last summer bring in almost 20 new players. That's an entire squad. Where Newport struggled was defensively so I expect Huw to bring in a few more backs. Get the right one's and they could be playoff team next season. Plus Jardim has a really young family back in Portugal so 1 year was probably always the plan. Help Huw through the complete squad overhaul setting it up for the new man on a 3 year contract

Plus a treacherous conker who thinks he's a genius director of football. He'll spend it all on Bony.
