• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Sad.

it is incredibly sad, awful news for the family,

my earlier comments were directed at how bad the media have handled all of this, like i said, even having so called 'expert divers' on the air saying that she wasn't to be found in the river. Talk about giving the poor family false hope. And then the police releasing such personal info.
Dear me

Sadly many a major police investigation, along with many a successful prosecution etc has at times ended up in the minds of sensationalist media reporters, trolls, conspiracy theorists, rogue authors, misinformation peddlers, liars, police haters, innocence fraud campaigners and other losers who know 'F' all what they were talking about.

There was a particularly sadistic atmosphere for this one whereupon some individuals were more than obviously desperate for the police to fail with their investigation. Why? Why? Why? Because an early resolve would have obviously been the best outcome!

This incidence was not the first, and certainly will never be the last where this type of thing happens, sadly!!!!

An awful and very sad affair, especially for the family but marginally better than still being in the dark for the next decade or more, I suppose. Do we know yet whether or not the police have ruled out foul play?
