• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This came at the end of a weekend where all the discussions were around arrivals...

Agree

The only reason I can see that this is being rumoured now is

https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/significant-update-revealed-on-joel-piroes-swansea-city-future/

"At this point, it's believed the way Swansea want to structure a deal is against Piroe's representative's wishes - and that's a key factor that could contribute to the Dutchman being retained beyond the end of the summer window."

I can't see that being a blocker if the right offer comes in.

If the right offer for the club comes along then they will accept.

The sticking point for us seems that Piroe's old man is seeing a bit of gold coins in his eyes taking the snippet regards to the bit about Winter and agreeing on something.
We want the best fee for him, his old man wants to make a bit of money from this, wouldn't suprise me this has been put out there to try and force Swansea to come down on the asking price.....a threat from Piroe's dad that if they don't then he will walk away for free in 12 months time.

Certainly still a bit to play with this one for sure.
