Why are the football club involving themselves in something that is none of their business though? Their business is entertaining their fans and if people are stupid enough to pay over £7 for a glass of beer then more fool them. If people boycotted the bar the price would soon come down.

In the 1960s (could be 70s) the sugar companies pulled the same stroke and the women stopped buying it. Guess what happened.

Oh, btw, last Sat down the stadium the lager was £5.20 so I didn’t buy any.
 
I guess the reason why Spam are making a public noise about it is that they are the ones who get it in the ear from the fans and the press coverage about the prices would obviously link it to West Ham.
 
Perhaps they could subsidise it, seeing how little they pay to play there.
