• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Could be. Never rule that out. I'm just thinking we have been really unlucky. Hellberg was poached by Boro. We did the leg work and they came in at last-minute. Maybe something to learn there. But let's face it, it's like me doing the leg work to start up a business and Richard Branson comes in at the end and buys it. With Matos, I think it's literally the club trying to play hard ball. By all accounts it's a termination clause not release clause at moment and figure. I think it will happen but will go little longer.
All these fees involved as well go against our PSR so paying up to 1M is unnecessary for a rookie imo.

True. Average championship manager will be on around 800k and Sheehan was on 300k a year. Looks like we are trying to pay the €1 M in, installments but they want it up front. Like players that's how we get around PSR rules and not effecting us.

Let's be honest , i don't think Boro are a huge club at all, they are certainly no Newcastle or Sunderland. He choose to go there probably for better money and the fact they look a better proposition to get promoted, but huge club they certainly are not.
