I’ll be honest here I’m not unhappy,we can finish mid-table or even slightly in the bottom half but people aren’t living in the real world and after reading our managers comments it seems he’s one of those people too.

I haven’t read the managers comments since the first couple of weeks. I like us on the pitch most of the time but I find the David Brentesque speak that he has a penchant for slightly excruciating. Brendan used to do it but in the PL I could take it, Cooper does it even worse. I’ve just given up on that side of things.

My expectations for this season are mid table at best. January might change those thoughts. What I want is to see improvement. There has been the odd glimmer but it has been outweighed by the number of repeating simple mistakes. We haven't got much pace in the team but playing the ball at a higher tempo can mitigate some of that.
