• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Anyone who is impatient or not looking at the bigger picture, needs to take this article on board. We'll said 👍👍

The churn of managers and the constant shift in footballing philosophy have created a chaotic environment where long-term planning has been replaced by a series of short-term fixes

This.

It's not so much that we've bought nothing but bad players (although some have been) it's that there's been no consistency of approach since Potter left.

GP tried to take us back to the way we'd played on our way up the table with moderate success. Then he was replaced by Cooper, who had a more direct, defensive style. Then he was replaced by Russy and all his bullshit, and as a reaction to that the club did a 180 when appointing Duff, and in a mad panic when that didn't work out did another 180 and gave the job to Russy Mk2.

We have to pick an approach and stick to it again, otherwise we're just going to be signing a succession of players to suit a manager, only to have to discard most of them when the next manager decides to go in a different direction.

very good article and must agree with its content, our squad as a whole is improving and there should be more to come in this window, so as has been said lets give it some time and patience

Lack of quality options on the bench the article says. 3 of those players were ones we signed in the summer to improve our team, plus Cooper and Vipotnik. That bench was half decent.
Half Agree. 😂 I would exclude Congreve, Cooper maybe Parker. Other than that, it's a good bench.

Wales is unproven, and VP is hit and miss. The others are unproven. Overall we need more depth across the board 😂
