A quick search suggest crossing are 34% than the previous year.

Reducing small boat arrivals is the measure we hear about the most, and here the data doesn’t look good for Labour. On the basis of there being years until the next election then surely ‘one in one out’ is not just there to influence opinion polls, but on the other hand I’m not seeing how agreement on movement of such low numbers acts as the deterrent that it’s designed to be.

Ha wrong week to ask given that at the moment he looks fucked. But yes, I think he’ll still be in charge at the next election. Assuming he wants to be.
